3 Marketing Systems To Increase Enrollment When Starting Small Business In Childcare

Having a classroom framework is essential because what happens in your classroom is what we call production. And you want to begin to create a predictable production so that when you market your business, parents are able to experience what you’re marketing.

So basically your marketing is to tell a story so well that clients will choose to follow you along the journey. So let’s go through some of those journey systems that you need in place so that you can attract new clients.

#1 Always teach you all to capture your leads. 

Having an online system in place that consists of an email system, that consists of a pop-up system, and even having a website is essential. Now those online systems should be interconnected so that when individuals come onto your website, or they are on your social media pages, they can click a link and find out more about you. 

#2 Give parents a reason to connect with you. 

You want to have an offer available for parents to choose to give you their information. So here are a few things that we did in order for parents to connect with us. Number one, when parents would call my childcare business, I made sure that I used a script. This script will be very introductory but it will lead them to give me further information such as “Thank you for choosing Brunswick’s number one childcare provider. This is Mrs Dickerson speaking. Would you like to enroll your child today?

This script will lead them to give me further information, such as an email address so that they can receive coupons and discounts. A mailing address so that we can send out postcards and thank you gifts. By capturing the information, I was able to give back to parents with discounts, coupons, and thank-you gifts. Having those types of gifts already set up in your program is what’s going to help you facilitate the promise and deliver on the things that you say you’re going to do.

#3 Make sure that you have a compelling marketing message.

One of the strategies that we use in our marketing is to offer a free trial. We offered a free trial so that parents would not feel as if there was any obligation. And we allow the children to come into our facility to get to know us and for us to get to know the children.

This empowers our directors and our teachers to get hands-on experience as to whether or not we were able to service the family. There were some families we could service and there were some that we couldn’t. But that gave us an opportunity to get to know the family. And of course, there’s a back office system for that. One of the back office systems that we use when offering a free trial is that we had hours that were selected and only available during certain hours and certain days. We also made it mandatory for parents to complete a pre-registration form. We also made it mandatory that before parents pick up the children there has to be some type of decision that’s made. We utilize certain hours of the day so that it would not be where I feel as a CEO that parents will take advantage of the opportunity, but that it will be seen as a free trial for the parents to try this out and for the children to try this out. And I always guarantee that they will see a difference. By having those back office systems in place, it empowers our free trial strategy to really come forth and happen in a business and it was an attention-grabber for our parents.

We use content such as ‘Need help with potty training?” or looking for the number one childcare program for your child or needing help with handwriting and math skills.

You identified the problems that parents had, and we offer the solution in our headline. Well, all right, you guys. Those are some major ways that you can use right now in today’s day and time to attract clients into your business.

Always start with a compelling headline that will lead them to capture their information as leads that will lead you to utilize a FREE concept such as a gift or a discount which will lead to them trying you out for free where they give you the difference which is a no-pressure offer. But make sure your back office systems are working so that it is a win-win situation for you.
