WHAT SYSTEMS DO YOU NEED IN YOUR CHILDCARE?
For today’s proven management solution, I want to talk to childcare business owners and have a CEO conversation about creating your leadership training program. I’m so excited that today I have the opportunity to share with you some of my most game changing processes that I implemented in my business that truly changed the game for me.
Now, the key to those written processes is that they don’t remain in the binder, but you begin to develop your leadership training program. Let’s dive deep into that.
Your leadership training program is so important. This is why I stress having your processes written. Because now in your leadership training program, you are going to take those processes and set them up in deliverable content so that you can spread your content over a 10-week period and train your team.
When you create your leadership training program, and you have your content that derives from your processes or your policies and procedures, now you’re going to start training your team ongoing on the way that you want your business to be operated and managed.
So many childcare business owners miss this step, and they feel overwhelmed because they never get past the point of breaking and get their systems done in writing so that now they can create their leadership training program.

So once a person joins your organization, you now have the proper setup for that person to become a part of the full scope of your classroom and what you expect to be done to assist them in doing so, you have what we call your classroom manager binder. Your classroom manager binder has all of the processes and systems that they must follow in your classroom, and they all are divided by the task.
With it being organized like this, when your leadership team comes into the room to train your new hire, they don’t have to look everywhere. They just go to the Jumpstart bin and pull it out. And this Jumpstart Bin remains in the classroom throughout the full time of your classroom being operated and everything they need, which is the Staff and the Classroom Manager, which have all of your policies, the Classroom Manager, which have all of their forms worksheets and step by step for how to accomplish task in your company. You can have a binder and still use a QR code for that. And as well as all of the supporting tools that are required for your team to be trained and follow your system.
Now you understand the importance of having your processes written so that they can be clearly followed by your team, and not just placed in a binder and forgotten about, but now you can utilize it as your leadership training program and prepare to train your team every 10 weeks on your processes and systems.
