WHAT SYSTEMS DO YOU NEED IN YOUR CHILDCARE?
For today’s proven management solution, I want to talk to childcare business owners about growth systems that you must have in place. So if you’re interested in learning what those are, continue reading this blog.
There are six growth systems. I’m going to share with you one of the sixth systems today. This growth system is everyone’s biggest challenge, which is hiring systems.
First, let me get your mindset together. Most of you think that you are in the business of childcare but childcare is a byproduct of the business you’re in. The biggest business you’re in is in human resources. And the next biggest system you are in is in the business of marketing. So you have to know how to manage your human resources and you have to know how to market your company in order for you to provide the underlining of what we do which is childcare, you know, without the team and without the students, there’s no childcare business.
So this is why I want to break that down for you so that you can clearly understand that as I go into this first growth system, this is the business that you are in and you have to focus on this business being the main key point that you get systems in place for – hiring systems.

put you ahead of your competitors who are only doing cookie-cutter ads, so I’m gonna show you how to be original with that. Now a part of this growth system which is your job description is understanding how to have the right hiring processes in place to quickly and easily secure your next applicant.
Your classroom has processes that should be readily available. The individuals can see your framework and it should be a part of your interviewing process. When you connect it to your interviewing process, you are more inclined to hire the right person. When you have these questions connected, then you know where the person needs to start in your training program. Now of course, we start everybody from orientation, but it gives you the information you need in order to check off what the person knows about systems and what they need to know. Then you continue to search and look for your A+ players. Because you know where this person is in your orientation process. It helps you to easily take the person down a journey instead of hiring them, putting them in the classroom, and then going back in training.
Let’s streamline the process from the classroom being the end goal. And then you go back all the way to the point of your job ads and job descriptions.
Those are some of the growth systems that I believe that every owner must have in place in order to stop repeating yourself and stop feeling as if you’re too busy to complete the proper onboarding and orientation. Without having a proper onboarding orientation growth system in place, you are setting yourself up to stay in the same circle to keep repeating yourself and to keep going around without seeing any growth.
