I know that this is a tough spot to be in as a CEO, but I want to share with you 3 reasons why you are experiencing fear.

#1. You are afraid of change.

Whenever you are not able to move in the direction of your dreams and goals because you are afraid of change. It’s not your team, it’s not your family, it’s not your friends, it’s you. You are the person that’s literally operating in fear. How dare you know that there’s a better way for you to run your business and not move in that direction? You’ve got to get to the point where you trust the process.

#2. Because you lack a system to hire new people you keep old people that you know don’t mean you any good.

Whenever you are not able to move in the direction of your dreams and goals because you are afraid of change. It’s not your team, it’s not your family, it’s not your friends, it’s you. You are the person that’s literally operating in fear. How dare you know that there’s a better way for you to run your business and not move in that direction? You’ve got to get to the point where you trust the process.

#3. Become comfortable. You know many of you are comfortable because you don’t have to show up, you don’t have to maximize your skills, your talents and abilities any longer, because you got people who know how to open those doors, who know how to change those diapers, who know how to work with your parents, who know how to smile, who know how to keep the culture of your organization. Because you have those type of people, you don’t show up in your next level self. You don’t make moves knowing you need to let that person go, because overall, they’re not healthy for your company. 

But temporarily, they keep you in your comfort zone. I needed to say those things today, because maybe you are in one of those three areas. And I want to encourage you to no longer be fearful, but to accept change.

How do you accept change?

First, you have to get in an environment where change is non-negotiable. You have to get in an environment where people are giving you the processes that cause transformation. 

Transformation is not about hype, it’s about you following a system and trusting the process that will bring about transformation.
