Falling In Love With Hiring New Teachers In Childcare

To fall in love with hiring is simply amazing. One of my mentors told me, “Andrea you must go from a discipline to a delight. You must learn to discipline yourself to do things that you don’t really enjoy until it becomes a delight.”

Now I want you to really zone in on what I just said. Hiring and falling in love with the hiring process is a part of what makes childcare successful not just for your company, but every single childcare in the world. If you are going to be a CEO who manages a business where people do the work for you, you must fall in love with hiring and must become very good at hiring and so you have to discipline yourself until it turns into a delight. 

So here are a few things that you will need to do in order to create an amazing business model that will support your hiring process:

  1.  If you have not taken any updated classes in a while about marketing, and how to interview then that’s the first step.
  2. Set a weekly routine. This weekly routine will be a day that you focus on staff. Now when you focus on staff. You want to make sure that you are doing critical tasks that will support hiring new people. Weekly tasks are where you’re going to focus on hiring new people and may include weekly Indeed job postings a Zip Recruiter or whatever platform you’re using for hiring automation. You want to update your job ad so I always tell my clients to create about four job ads for each position, just tweaking the words a little bit so that the new algorithm can catch that there’s a new ad that has gone out. If you ever take a look at your Indeed you might find that you’re on page three. The only reason why you’re on page three is because the ad is so old. You have to constantly update your job ad with new information, new titles so that you can stay on the front page.
  3. Be comfortable with investing in video and investing in learning new technology so that you can get the word out on different platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. There should be some type of marketing strategy used to support your hiring processes used to support your hire, especially nowadays. A lot of people spend their time looking at their phones all throughout the day, you know because you have to always tell staff when caring for children. So these are some things that you can do right away to fall in love with hiring. 

And here’s my final concept, when you track your success, you will find that you will be more determined to meet your own requirements. It is so important that you track your success and it is so important that you lead yourself. When you learn to track your success and you learn to lead yourself you will become more delighted in doing the activities that will cause you to grow.
