How to Craft a Marketing Message that will Attract the Right Staff or Parents in your Childcare Business

Hey there, Childcare Boss!

For today’s blog, I want to talk to you about how to craft a marketing message so that you can attract the right staff and or parents to your childcare business.

To get started, I want you to understand how to craft a marketing message. That begins with choosing the right words and using the right visual images.

By completing this checklist, you may be surprised that you can boost your business dramatically and attract the right people by taking a few simple steps.

Let’s answer the following questions.

  1. Can you quickly and confidently describe your niche audience?                                                                                                                                                                                    Can you quickly describe the type of team members you’re looking for? And the type of parents you’re looking for?
  2. When you describe your niche market, do people respond enthusiastically with interest?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Or do their eyes just glaze over what you’ve offered? I’ve been there even with the daycare brand. Learning my target audience has been a constant work in progress.
  3. Can you go on to describe your niche in further detail and ways to speak to both the head and heart of your potential niche market?                                                                                                                                                                                             What do I mean by the head and heart? Well, your marketing should be able to speak to them intellectually, and it should be able to make a person feel like you understand me or you understand what I need.
  4. Does your business name capture the essence of your niche?
  5. Is it easy to remember, pronounce and spell your business name?
  6. Do you have a distinctive coordinated graphic image for your business cards, letterheads, and marketing material? Do all of these marketing pieces have a different logo?
  7. Do you reinforce the nature of your niche?                                                                                                                                                                                                           Childcare owners need to reinforce their marketing message in their day to day operations so parents can see you’re not just saying it, but this is what you do.
  8. Do people take note or comment positively about your services? Or do your services go unnoticed or even elicit suggestions for improvements?
  9. Are your marketing materials current and up to date?
  10. Do you have a presentation kit describing yourself and your niche that you can send out for marketing purposes? It is so important that you think beyond the basics of social media, but have presentation kits, portfolios, postcards, et1
