Years ago, I asked God to give me wisdom concerning my staff.

I was experiencing several stresses with turnover, onboarding, orientation, and retention.

I asked God to give me wisdom. Several years ago, I was inside Walmart, and I remember that the manager came and asked the young lady to get rid of the clock before she left her cash register. Meanwhile, I’m standing right there looking at all of this, before she leaves her cash register. She said, “One second, ma’am. We’re doing a quick shift change.” And she hit some particular numbers on her cash register, pulled her drawer, and started off to the office, as she was moving, I heard the Spirit the Lord say to me, “See there, Andrea, they are closing out before they leave for the day, you should close out your business too, because you’re running a business, just like Walmart is a business.”

It hit me like a ton of bricks. I got so much wisdom and revelation from that moment that I started moving quickly, I came back into my business and I started implementing the Jumpstart Bin, a close-out system for my admin team, my kitchen, and for my teachers.

When I began to implement systems that were based on the teachers being accountable, it was a game changer for me. I’m not talking about sweeping and mopping up your room and making sure everything on the shelf is put up. I’m talking about true authentic close-out. And that’s when the teacher folder system came alive to me.

That’s when it made sense to me to implement this process.

Now, I believe that this system is so good that I’m going to talk to you about it.
