Welcome to today’s blog post where I want to talk to you about the power of having the right network. Your net worth is your network.

As we’re entering into this new business year, it’s important that you take stock of the relationships that you have formed over the years or the relationships with that you can make a decision that it’s time to end. My husband recently reminded me how I should consider my connections to certain people in my life. Normally at the end of each year, I go through a purge. I purge all relationships

that aren’t profitable – connections on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter.

Now although social media may not be where my closest friends are or they may not know me personally but purging my social media and email list is very important. As a matter of fact, we purged over 3,000 people in our email list. It was a list of people who are not engaging with our brand. But nevertheless, making the disconnection is not a forbidden thing.

So many of us find it hard to release the old people in our life that don’t think how we think, want what we want, or do what we do, and quite frankly, they’re very negative about everything. They’re negative about everything that you do because their season is already up in your journey or your life.
